Plot[]

I.R. Baboon is frolicking through the cornfields of Nebraska, when he suddenly trips over a basket of corn. After a randomly explosive landing, a baby crawls out of the stalks of corn and approaches him. A moment later, a woman with a tractor full of kids approaches. She comments that the baby isn't hers, but found him in a cabbage patch and has been watching him. Baboon says he always wanted kids and hugs the baby. The woman says Baboon would make a good mother, adding that she has a nose for these things. After drives off with her kids, Baboon decides to name the baby after his grandfather and bring him home.

Baboon returns to his trailer and puts Baby Grampa into the laundry hamper so he'll be comfortable. Grampa starts to cry, and since Baboon isn't lactating, he needs to come up with another way to feed the baby. While that happens, Mrs. Red Guy watches from next door with her binoculars. She is appalled at Baboon lack of immediate care and calls I.M. Weasel to intervene. Weasel is currently working at the Future Presidents Farm as head nanny. As he diapers a baby president, Nurse Loulabelle gives him the phone, saying there is an emergency. Weasel immediately leaves for Nebraska to help.

Baboon manages to get milk for Grampa and feeds him. After burping the baby, Baboon does his victory dance with Grampa. Mrs. Red Guy is still watching through the window, demanding to know what is taking Weasel so long. At that moment, Weasel arrives to the trailer and asks if its true that Baboon was dancing with his baby. Baboon doesn't deny it, but says he would never harm the baby. He asks who said he was harming the baby and gets his answer when he sees Mrs. Red Guy waving at him through the window. Baboon gets angry, and says that he is a good mommy before putting Grampa into the clothes hamper for a nap. Weasel offers to be Baboon's training baby so he can take care of Grampa better.

Weasel shows Baboon how to change a diaper, but Grampa is able to do it himself. Baboon then gives the baby a tongue bath. Weasel proposes bringing Grampa out for some air, pulling a double stroller out of his nanny bag. Baboon puts Grampa and Weasel into the stroller, then runs through the Nebraskan sandhills. Weasel is terrified, but Grampa just laughs. They reach the center of town, where two grandmas are having a high noon showdown. They stop when they see Baboon with his "twins." They comment on how hairy Weasel is and tell Baboon to shave him. Weasel tries explaining that he's not a baby, but the grandmas scream and run away, calling him a monster. This scares Grampa, and Baboon comforts him. After the baby calms down, Weasel admits that Baboon is a good mother. He cries at the beautiful moment, then promptly pulls out a guitar and sings a song about Baboon and Grampa. During the song, there is a montage of Grampa growing older, and Baboon spending time with him.

Weasel finishes up his song with Baboon, the now-adult Grampa, the tractor lady, and her kids sitting around a campfire and singing along. Grampa asks the tractor lady to dance, and she accepts. Baboon tells Weasel he is sad that Grampa is grown up and holds Weasel's hand for comfort. Weasel says that love sometimes means letting go (of his hand).

Also sitting by the campfire are Mrs. Red Guy and Supercow. Mrs. Red Guy is surprised that Supercow is in a Weasel cartoon, but asks her to dance anyway. Supercow smacks Red Guy with her udder in response.
