Cow and Chicken Wiki
Earl
Earl 300
Portrayer: Dan Castellaneta
Hair Color: Black (most episodes, including "Sumo Cow")
Brown (underneath cap; "Lost at Sea")
Friends: Flem, Cow, Chicken
First Appearance: Field Trip to Folsom Prison

Earl is Chicken's second best friend who is in the same grade (fifth grade) as Chicken and Flem and wears a red cap and braces. Like Flem, Earl is based on one of David Feiss' friends back in middle school. It's unknown what happened to Earl's parents, who were never shown on-screen. He is voiced by Dan Castellaneta, with a voice similar to Barney Gumble's from The Simpsons, albeit higher pitched.

Appearance[]

Earl has a thin, tall body type, and a big, bean-shaped, pink-shaded nose. Earl has on a backwards red baseball cap, which he almost always wears, has braces, wears a black shirt that shows his midriff, blue shorts and gray and red sneakers. Earl rarely has his cap off; however, there were two instances in which Earl has it off. In the episode "Lost at Sea", when Flem and Earl wake up in what appear to be an ocean, the latter takes his cap off to swipe the sweat off his forehead; revealing that he has six thick strands of brown-colored hair. The episode "Sumo Cow" has Earl capless throughout it; however, his hair is black-colored and partially styled like a sumo's.

Trivia[]

  • His voice is similar to that of Barney Gumble from The Simpsons. This makes sense, since both characters were voiced by Dan Castellaneta.
  • He lives at Flem's house with his friend, along with Flem's father.
